Is there a God?
If the word “God” means anything,it must be nothing. God is not a fact.W fact is an object in the field of time and space,an image in the dream field.
God is no dream.God is no fact.
God is a word referring to us past any thing that can be conceived of or named.God is not a denotation to something, but connotation which refers to transcendent.
In every tradition, gods are agents, manifestations. of energy, not the source of energy.
all the gods are either he or she.
but if the god is beyond space time .it must be neither he nor she.
In the tribe, deities were the personification of power.eg
like a prism which splits light into a rainbow.
and one fragment of light which could be any one of them .may be red one ,
So if you worship sun, wind or rain .basically you worship a personification of ultimate energy .
But today psychology is transformed.
Our god is the source of god.
before 4th to 5th millennium bc.
there was no male god.
but only female god.
and more earlier in hunting culture, God form is in animals.
All the gods of the world are metaphors, not power.
Metaphor that refers to ultimate mystery ultimate energy.
Could god exist if there is nobody to worship them.
There are no gods.
There are as many gods as there are people thinking about god.
COULD WOULD God exist if nobody else did? No. That’s why gods are very avid for worshipers. If there is nobody to worship them, there are no gods. There are as many gods as there are people thinking about God. When Mrs. Mulligan and the Pope are thinking about God, it is not the same God.
In choosing your god, you choose your way of looking at the universe. There are plenty of Gods. Choose yours.
The god you worship is the god you deserve.
When you say that God needs man and man needs God, that “God” that’s being talked about is the image of God, the concept of God, the name of God, the ethnic God. You bet he needs a man. He wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for man.
In the tribe, deities were personifications of power. In later years, they became the source of power.
All the gods of the world are metaphors, not powers.
